What the fashionable man wore on Fire Island in 1973.

I am currently perusing "The Adventures of Roderick Random" by Tobias Smollet, and yes, it is as ridiculous as it sounds. This tome was published in 1748 and it expounds on the high-spirited adventures of Roderick and his friend Strap.

Yes, it's gay as hell. And it's more than 200 years old.

( In which Lord Strutwell offers an impassioned defense of homosexuality and Roderick presses a gift upon the Earl since he is ever so grateful for his wisdom and counsel and wherein there is a lot of hand-squeezing and bosom-hugging )

"Scott Pilgrim" was a fun movie, and Kieran Culkin had a lot to do with it.

We've watched "Hot Fuzz" and the Harry Potter movies a million times, and we only just realized Mr. Webber (old man with all the guns) and Argus Filch are the same person.

What fun to still discover things in our favorite movies!
